my good friend Grizzle dropped me a line after receiving our "Hunks" CD. here's what he had to say.



****"Brother D - wanted to give thanks for dropping off a copy of the new disc. ya know yesterday I was watching the press conference where Biggio was announcing his retirement, and he talked about playing the game the "right way", and I immediately thought about you and matty 'cuz you guys, without a doubt keep doin' it the right way, with the right motives. While everyone else seems to be asking, "yeah, but what's in it for me, where's mine?"- you guys do it because it's in you and you just gotta get it out in the open. Lotsa people wanna be heard, few have anything to say or anything worth listening to. Thanks for sharing your gifts. Thanks for making me ask a few more questions. Thanks for the inspiration, the wisdom, the humor, the vibes, the joy, and the wonder. Thanks for being such a class act, the class clown, a damn fine friend, and the man I hope to be like when i grow up. But most of all, thanks for your music. Life wouldn't be the same without it. Can't wait for the "retro vol.II" in about four years.
