The Chad Hollister Band sounds like no other rock band you have heard. The music is a blend of Chad's unique melodies, grooves, lyrics, and beats.
Originally a drummer Chad moved into the guitar seat about ten years ago. His infectious rhythm on guitar makes for a unique peformancea drum solo on a guitar.something you'll definitely go home talking about. The music could be described like any of the great bands the band has opened for or performed with such as Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Paul Simon, Blues Traveler, Phish, Giovanni Hidalgo, Little Feat, The Samples, Eddie Money, Violent Femmes, Pat McGee Band, Merl Saunders, Acoustic Junction and the list goes on. Yet people have also compared his music to John Mayer, Dave Mathews and David Grayyou'll have to check it out and decide for yourself.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chad combines his love for life and appreciation for Mother Earth into his music and lyrics. He helped to raise awareness of Global Warming by headling the One Earth One Climate Day in the Boston Commons in April 2007. He co-wrote the theme song of the day "One World Free" with bandmate Aaron Flinn and the children of Park School. He recently released his self titled CD in Montpelier VT at the "Growing Local Fest". This fest was dedicated to raising money for "a garden in every Washington County School by 2012". Chad is also involved with the Crohns, Colitis Foundation of America leading song writing workshops at Camp Oasis each summer.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chad's music has led to song commissionings by My Billing Tree, Families First of Boston and Muggia Philantrophy.
