DESCRIPTION:
The United States Air Force Academy Drum and Bugle Corps prides itself in the tradition it carries on from year to year. Initiated in Washington D.C., the United States Air Force Drum and Bugle Corps was transitioned to the Air Force Academy in 1963 and combined with NCOs. In 1972, the Corps was given over to the Cadet Wing where cadets now took charge of the Corps, playing for military formations and representing the Air Force Academy at all major sporting events and acting as the ambassadors of music for the Academy across the U.S.
