THE BORSTAL

Formed in December 1998 in Jakarta, a group of young people who were going crazy punkrock music, beginning with the formation of The Borstal discene often we meet a local punk / hardcore in Jakarta, Posters café where we formed a band punkrock, The Borstal was taken from a song title Sham 69 with the title song of the same, the meaning of The Borstal Such were the name of the prison under the age residing in the United Kingdom, Influence our music from the band punkrock British / American era of the late 70th like: the partisan, GBH, The Exploited, Sex pistols and The Ramones.
Mixed with punk / hardcore American / UK or Europe 90's era bands like: Oxy moron, Rancid, Gorilla Biscuit, and we started at the beginning of it with local stage scene
The first incarnation of 1998 is:
Bowo: Vocal
Chamvrt: Bass
Agus: Guitar
Embot: Drums
And in the year 1999 Bowo out of The Borstal and make a band, The Proletar
Then replaced by the EDS (Emptycase), at the time the band disbanded eds and eds join The Borstal until recently,
The second inacarnation:

and up till now.
