This review was taken from LordsofMetal.nl:
The smokin' guitars and sparkling no-nonsense rock and roll are a welcome surprise after the cheap horror movie intro. This band with just guitar, bass and drums combined with the right attitude play straight forward rock and roll, with the pedal to the metal. Not only the traditional minimal line-up with maximum result, but also the music reminds of bands like Danko Jones and Mötorhead.
The history of being a blues (rock) cover band can still be recognised in the music by the many typical standard blues and rock and roll riffs and scales, and the predictability of the arrangements. The fact that the music is very standard without any surprises is one of the minor points of this album. Besides the pretty standard performance, you can also hear some very familiar tunes; for example 'Backdoor' reminds a lot of the Dio classic 'Stand Up And Shout'. On the other hand, the production is direct with the right balance between raw power and transparency. Thanks to the enthusiastic performance this standard piece of work can just be catchy enough to listen through the whole album. Just when you think you have heard enough of it, the official announced album is at the end; but then there is the hidden desert. Not mentioned on the cover there is the instrumental outtro.
A wonderful sleazy stoner-like jam with a main role for the guitar, which is completely losing it in a fantastic way, is the final track. Something that was only allowed in the seventies, preferably stretched out over a whole side of a vinyl record; maybe this CD is to short after all. For the next album I would suggest a bit more creativity, but still I think our small country has one more high energy rock and roll band that could be promising for the future.

Started out on the beach at Ter Heijde in The Netherlands. For three years they were the home band of Beachcafe 'Pauze'. Just before the last show the evening was fucked up by a police raid. The Beachcafe was closed down and for the Junkies a new era started. A period of depression and detention forced the band into change of line up.
The last three years they are playing in the original setting
The first album 'Losin'the Blues' was released april 2008 under cult label Motorwolf.
The title relates to the beach history of the band. They were locally known as obscure blues band. With the Blues completely in the past, they could make their debut album a kick-ass rock record.
