The sound and music of The Black Coats

rhythmic synth reggae, and a vintage strand



of pop laced with harmonies and warm keys.



Their latest effort Cry Mary Cry features soulful



Danzig like shouts in 'I Don't Care', time



signature play on the smash-up 'RockNRoll',



and echo/delay drenched ska in the self titled



track 'Cry Mary Cry'.



With only two young years under their belt, the



guys (and lady) have been keeping busy by playing



countless shows followed by a good diet of writing



and recording. The Black Coats have opened for



numerous national touring acts in Milwaukee,



enjoyed constant radio air-play, and have been



featured in select articles in the mid-west region.
