ABOUT THE BASIQS:



Since forming in 2005 The BASIQS have successfully mixed razor sharp rap with an alternative pop/rock edge,to create a truly unique sound. From producing their own tracks to creating their own marketing materials, these socially aware, avante-garde, risk takers, are quickly proving themselves to be true renaissance men. Their debut LP "Your Life is Calling", has received rave reviews, while turning those that even hate rap music into fans.



With much anticipation brewing for the band’s sophomore release “This Lie”, The BASIQS are poised for a banner year in 09’. While deftly blending genres, playing with everyone from Rock acts to hardcore rap, its clear that everything this group does for comes from a pure unpolluted love for the Hip Hop culture.
