The spirit winds blown by the breath of fate, have brought these four musicians together. Home’s members hail from CO, WI, TX, and NJ creating a diverse collection of musical styles and sounds, from Brazilian choro to So cal punk. Their “Folkadelic*Jamgrass*Funkplosion” is augmented with roots in reggae and creative improvisation taking the audience on a sonic journey through imaginative passages, with soaring melodic harmonies, and passionate words of inspiration and freedom.

Since the bands inception in early 07, Home has taken the Denver music scene by storm. They have been nominated by The Westword magazine as one of the top 5 jam bands in CO for two years in a row, won the judges vote in a battle of the bands with over 100 groups, and won two more battles earning them spots at both Summer Camp and Wakarusa music festivals.

Home is no stranger to the road. They have toured extensively throughout the past 2 1/2 years covering the Midwest and Texas, including performances at many music festivals such as- Wakarusa(x2), Summer Camp, 10KLF, and Kan’Nal’s Dreamtime, with main stage spots at Wookie Foot’s Harvest Fest(x2), Project Earth, and Bella Madre.

The guys will be hitting the studio in the next month to get started on their first full length studio album and will be on the road soon after that.

Zach Mace began his love for music at an early age. Instead of watching TV the Mace family huddled around a stereo listening to scratchy records singing anthems of freedom. Those passionate songs ignited a fire inside of the young boy, to spread peace, love, and kindness by letting the universe flow through him in the majesty of song. Zach spent his high school career on the theatrical stage, performing many leading roles from Jesus Christ Superstar, to West Side Story. After graduation in 2000 Zach again fell in love with the folk music that had brought him up, and began to pair his heart with the melodies in his soul and create original music, fueled by freedom, and open minded ideals. Driving towards making a positive change in our world.

Mark Swaim began playing piano at a young age, inspired by the Colorado mountains out his window, and his grandmother's music before him. While experimenting with many musical insturments over the years, Mark was bitten by the bluegrass bug in 1998 and fell in love with the mandolin. After growing up musically in the Boulder acoustic scene, he was exposed to many types of music including bluegrass, jazz, Brazilian choro, and funk. Mark now strives to bring all these influences to a new musical venture. and has finally come HOME.

Chris originally hails from Arlington, Texas. He spent one year at the University of North Texas in the jazz program but failed out due to extensive Street Fighter 2 competitions on the SuperNES video game system and a desire to play heavy music. After escaping to Colorado in 2001 (arrived at 1:30 AM on 9/11/01), he has played in several local Denver bands, most recently Octopus Nebula, AAA, and Emergency Broadcast. His influences stretch over a wide distance, everything from Mike Watt (and most all SoCal punk from the 80s) and Erasure to Return to Forever and John Denver. He likes almost all foods, long walks on the beach, and surf movies. He was welcomed HOME in Keystone on Aug 9th.

Sean's bio's coming soon!
