The Atoll is a World Groove band from Fort Collins, Colorado lead by Crow Tribal member Cary Morin. The Atoll has traveled the US performing at college campuses, festivals, and clubs for much of the past fifteen years. The Atoll has recorded 4 CDs, Dream Marquee in 1993, Unity in 1995, and World Groove in 1997, and most recently Alias, released in 2002. The band recorded a DVD in 2003. The band has been featured to satellite TV subscribers in Tokyo, Japan and has received a number of awards in Colorado. The band co-wrote and performed a stage production entitled Turtle Island in 2000 and 2001. The production and its cast of 50 won the hearts of 1000's of audience members and will soon be available for bookings in a larger region.

The music of the Atoll has been described as a free form mix of rock, reggae and other world rhythms. Morin's lyrics are a product of his Native American culture and his diverse musical upbringing. His songs have been featured in soundtracks and stage productions as well as with the Atoll. The band is comfortable sharing the stage with national acts; jam bands, reggae bands and Hip Hop performers from around the nation. The rhythms of drummers Crip Erickson and Pete Knudson have long been a show-stopping favorite. Both drummers, having played music together since childhood, have a connection on stage that borders on telepathic. Bassist Craig Fowler is well known for his ability to hold down the groove with his melodic style of bass playing, often inspiring musical rants that seem to choose their own direction. The Atoll's extended sets roll from song to song and always leave the dance floor enthusiasts rhythmically satisfied.
