REVIEWS."THE PUNCTUALS , how the fuck am I going to do them justice in a review and not make them sound shit! Basically THE PUNCTUALS are these 14/15 year old kids from Bury St Edmonds that were driven down in the school minibus and stood around looking shy and lost for the first few bands. Then to everyones surprise they pick up instruments and proceed to educate a room full of jaded semesters in exactly what punk rock is all about. You can tell these kids have grown up listening to nothing but the likes of the Sex Pistols, the Clash, Crass, Minor Threat and the Dead Kennedys. Their sound is nothing new, nothing too proficiently played, 90% of times this would come across sounding horrible contrived but THE PUNCTUALS clearly just dont give a fuck, this is all they know. I must say I was truly terrified by their wide eyed front man bleeding from the face and jumping off the walls. He instructed the room to dance "because I say so" and they fucking did. I cant help but feel you probably have to see these guys to understand what Im babbling on about.
