WHO ARE THEY?



The Alpacinos have been together playing punk music for 5 years. Colin (Drums), Grunter (Guitar) and Eddy (Vocals) lived together as siblings for all their unfortunate lives, Davy (Bass) and Jamie (Guitar) joined the

melting pot later. They are based in Glasgow, Scotland.



WHAT THEY DONE?



The boys have played their brand of fast, filthy, party, punk at around 400 gigs all over the UK with a great response. They've enjoyed gigging with Capdown, The Step Kings, The Bronx, Da Skywalkers, Fallout 40, 999, Tuuli, The Selecter, Sona Fariq, and Groop Dogdrill to name-drop a few.



Before putting out their last EP Aw That Kill Yer Granny Music, the band were played a live session on Vic Galloways Air programme on BBC Radio Scotland. The Alpacinos have also received attention from BBC Radio 1, getting airplay on Mike Davies punk show The Lock Up and on Vic Galloways Session in Scotland. Jim Gellatly has continually given the band support by playing many of their tunes on his Beat 106 and XFM Scotland radio shows.



The band have produced 2 Singles and 3 EPs. They finished their latest offering "This Bag is Not a Toy" in July 2005.
