The 8th Sin (2004-2008) and Chaos Rising (2008-2009)
The 8th Sin was founded somewhere in the spring of 2004 when Jim and Jeunis joined Bitchslap. After a few changes in the line up they deceided to start all over again and so the name was changed into "The 8th Sin". The first years the band was merged into melodic metal with female vocals. But that didn't work out very well, so in 2006 the line up was changed again. From that moment "The 8th Sin" was evolving into a deathmetalband. However in 2008 drummerboy Luug moved to the west, and that was the moment to lit a ligth and say farewell to The 8th Sin. That's were Chaos Rising was born.
Drummer Marc joined the band, and they began to cover dutch metalheroes Gorefest. A mini-tour was played in december 2008, and Valentines Day 2009 was the big "last show", because the musicians split their ways.
Jeunis and Jim started up a brand new deathmetalband "Icons of Brutality, while Marc, Tim and Rik formed "Facing the Madness", a fine piece of metalcore.
