Born Marquis C. Jones Jr. 1989 and raised in the hardcore and dangerous streets of Lynwood California. A lot of people heard of my city but for those who haven’t, it’s Compton’s next door neighbor. The 20 year old MC learned about drama, hustling,hardships, and working hard at a very young age. The surroundings of crime, prostitution,drug dealers, and gangs in Lynwood made Young Kece a strong person and gave him the experience to share his pains and struggles of what a lot of people faced. After his main dream of becoming a football star didn't go as he had planned, he noticed that he had a certain passion for the type of music at the age of 13. Coming from the west coast, a coast that has produced stars like The Game, Daz Dillinger, Dr. Dre, Eazy E, Tupac, and many more, and famous for its different ways of lifestyle. With young Kece becoming another face out of that region, took that and made himself a style and well known rap flow.
