In a region normally known for its wine,when you hear the words Napa Valley you more than likely would never relate it to hip hop.

Well, here to change your thought process and promote Napa to a nation wide audience comes the highly anticipated rap group THA CITY COUNCIL.

With four individual and completely unique styles over quality production from up and coming super producer Frankie Fingaz, this 1 of a kind group is sure to leave it's mark not only locally, but worldwide in the rap game. "We were all working on our own projects and getting on eachothers tracks so the concept for this album really just fell into place, and the rest is history". For Mouthpiece, born John Ruiz age 24 this is his third commercial release with the first dating back to 2002 with the group I.N.C,then in 2004 a solo project "JUS LET THE TAPE RIDE" with his biggest release coming as 1 quater of THA CITY COUNCIL. While his most anticipated album "THE NARRATOR" is set to hit the streets early 2007, Mouthpiece has somehow found time to run a recording studio The Black Hole as well as produce,mix and all but master for all of these projects. "The only thing I can say about Tha City Council is that if this cd doesn't put Napa on the map Napa is never gonna get any recognition in the rap industry".Dirty Dust age 28 and legally known as Dustin Lyons has been in the rap game since the late 90's and is finally coming into his own as he gears up to release his first solo attempt rightfully titled "PENETRAITING THE GAME" which will also availiable early 2007. "We four of tha best right here,an we're napa valleys own". Knoqtain, age 24 and rarely referred as Mike Vanlandingham is a born and raised Bay Area native. While also tryna step into his solo role on what is sure to be a 707 slumper "BAY MADE". "Theres alot of music coming outta Napa, but I think this is the first album thats been done right". Lil Sin, aka Lil Sin Sinatra, aka 25 year old Nap town flamethrower Steven Ramsey is more than ready for his bebut as he has perfected his craft to the highest degree on his own album "LIL SIN CITY". With the majority of the production by 22 year old Frankie Fingaz who is also Mouthpieces' brother, Tha City Council seems determined to snatch your ears with catchy hooks like "Where You At", "They Gon' Feel Me" and the first of many wine country calssics "We Drink" featuring long time label mate Da Roo.So even if you got, or you are the girl "Callin"or maybe you just tryna lay back and "Chop Talk", from melodic piano keys to lead synths and strings this album is blended to perfection with the right varietals for any hip hop conneuseurs taste.
