Tha Chief was Born in Gainesville, Fl in 1982. He grew up in a small coastal town 80 miles north of Tampa. He began his endeavor into music in high school where he worked with numerous local artist, some of which he still produces for today.

In 2002 Tha Chief moved to Orlando where he briefly attended Full Sail college. After a short stint in Orange county he eventually moved to Tampa where he attended the International Academy of Design and Technology.

In his early years in Tampa he produced music for artist Like Wes Fif and Nephew black (Both from Orlando) It was also the same time frame when he got his first radio Interview along side Nephew black, on 88.5 with Sunny the Brown fox and D.J. Low down.

Later that year Tha Chief Convinced the Band Red level to join him in Tampa and too pursue their dreams.

Tha chief operated as Red Levels producer and was along side of them for nearly 100 shows. The popularity of Red Level landed the Band and Chief back onto 'Tampa Bay's hype Radio' with Sunny the Brown Fox, where after playfully joking around on air, about how Sunny had never met a Cuban until she moved to Tampa, was called "Cuban Bread" by the Brown Fox.

The Name stuck, and with that a new persona was born. After a brief hiatus in Cleveland, Ohio, Cuban Bread returned to Tampa with a new mission. He started going out more and making began making the necessary connections to help his career not only survive, but thrive.

In 2007 Cuban Bread made the transition from Producer to director, Filming such Videos as "Predator" by Red Level, "Mi Sangre" by Durty Norf, "Impatient" by Poetic, and the Orlando hip hop awards nominated "My Hometown" By Eliseo.

2009 was another transitional year for Cuban bread, Although relatively slow, he did direct the "Impatient" video, and produce few popular Remixes (Shawty tear it up, Love lockdown). But the most notable occurrence of 2009 was the emergence of the Group 'TriBrid' an off shoot of the now defunct 'Red Level'.

Within this Group Cuban Bread not only retains the role of producer, but also takes on being a full member in the 3 man group.

As 2010 begins the vision becomes clearer, but the path becomes more trivial. More now than ever the push for success will be felt and noticed, on the agenda, more videos, an Album featuring some of the best Florida has to offer, more Remixes than ever before, a venture into Radio, the TriBrid project, and above all the full on re-emergence of Tha Chief a.k.a. Cuban Bread.
