Born and raised in Chicago, now currently residing in California (his second home), as he love to say; With such a self-explanatory but yet powerful name, Hip-Hop/R&B recording artist "Tha Boi Spit" (formally known as "Spitphire") has definately been on a mission to show and prove that not only does he live up to his name, but he also has the discipline, dedication and determination to turn his passion for music into a successful career.

On his latest project "Ask About Me" which is dropping under his founded label "MW Muzik", Spit gives his fans and new listeners something to play in their iPods and car stereos to enjoy from the beginning to end. "I chose that title because i want people to really get to know me. Im the type of person thats not afraid to be myself. This is ME on these records. Im not playing follow the leader, im staying true to who i am." With 18 original hot tracks all written and recorded by Spit, he plans to capture the ears and hearts of music lovers all over the world with his creativity, lyrics, personality, originality and conceptual songs. "I rather be respected for who i am than to be respected for someone im not," Spit explains. "I just like to make feel good music for whatever im going through or feeling at that moment. Whether its something for the clubs, the ladies, the streets, the everyday struggle or even the fly life. I just make good music for people of all ages who can relate to it."With the heart, soul, love and effort put into perfecting his craft and staying consitant with his music, it's very obvious that Spit is set out to stay on top of his game.
