LOOKING FOR SHOWS
Terry Funk was formed sometime in late 2006 in the ugly, yet beautiful San Pedro, CA. Growing up on wide musical perspectives, consisting of bands such as Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Black Flag, AFI, and even artists like Marilyn Manson. We have all been involved in previous local bands such as Diesalone, XbattleshipX, and We Have No faces, and even a now very famous metalcore band, As Blood Runs Black.
Striving to keep real metal alive, and away from the hands of washed up, undeserving, uninformed posers and people who lack real love and apperception for the music and all its beauty. Hence, fueling our passion to create real, aggressive music with a message transcending hate for these people and love for the true art of metal and music overal; our message says “fuck the world and all its greed.” and "propagate hatred." These messages are the foundation of our lyrics, our style of playing, our general sound, and even our stage presence. Our music is limitless as well as relentless, with incinerating drums, blasphemous licks, compulsive bass, and filthy shrieks. We push our boundaries and limits more and more as we progress as musicians and as a band.
With that said, we will continue to make death metal whatever way we want to, and nothing could stand in the paths of our musical journeys. We are TERRY FUNK, everything we want to be and everything you’re afraid of being.
