Known as the in-house singer for the legendary Wu-Tang and half of UK chart topping group Sahara (with Armand Van Helden), Tekitha has returned with her long awaited debut solo EP “The Prelude”. A six-song fusion of soul, hip-hop and pop rock, “The Prelude” EP will be available for digital download Jan. 19th, 2010 on Itunes, Rhapsody, Napster and anywhere digital music is sold worldwide.



The release of her EP “The Prelude” is sure to supersede the expectation of her international mass appeal audience and is also setting the ground-work for her upcoming album release. “The Prelude,” features all new original songs by Tekitha, with production from The RZA, Armand Van Helden, Bdotforealla of The Ahficionados and Jeff Jones/Joneszilla. The project is executive produced by Tekitha, The RZA and Jeff Jones under her new label Wisdom Body Entertainment distributed by The Orchard.



With a fresh renewed appeal and reemerging with a new voice and sound that many have missed and anticipated, Tekitha is ready to get back in the ring and flex her many gifts and talents in multiple arenas. In her own words she agrees that, "The Prelude serves as a reintroduction to my sound and my soul. It’s been a long time coming and I am hopeful that my fans will ride with me as I give them a refresher course on Tekitha."
