DARK

Dark is an artist, an innovator of music. He as well as his associates have been able to captivate his fans with his lyrical prominence, style and perseverance. This Twenty-Five year old coming from the streets of Washington Heights, a diverse area but predominately Dominican based, has become a leader among raps elite. As he stands in the forefront of the new breed of artists that are coming out in 2008 and so on. Dark has been inspired by many of raps greats such as Jay-z, Big Pun, and the late great Notorious Big just to name a few. These inspirations and a love for music has brought him to Washington Height's own super-group Team Hot, where they maintain a solid base of fans that have been following them for numerous years as the group evolved.



Due to industry setbacks, the group selected to go a different route which brings us up the long anticipated mix-tape album entitled Dark Lights Out. The critically acclaimed mix-tape has grabbed many listeners and brought them much closer to dark as a person. He has introduced his audience to a place of pain, struggle and success. His audience have been captivated by his lyrics where he brings up his life story of being raised by hustlers which has directed his street knowledge as well as established his passion for music.



Through the years, Hip-hop has taken us through many eras of it's always evolving, changing, and bringing something fresh to the world that no one would ever imagine, see or hear.



Dark is that voice that elevates and changes everyone's perception on how an artist should sound and feel for music. So on that note, I hope everyone is ready because Lights Out Season has just begun.
