Bold, confident and beautiful, Taurus rushes to the center of the stage to

take their place as the next generation of superstars on the music scene. And they are coming with a new style of flair, personality and self assurance matched with a sensual, magnetic side that draws you in capturing your every attention. Their traits keep you off-centered yet you cant help but keep coming back for more. Named after the astrological sign of which they all share, Taurus is comprised of three highly creative and talented singers named Doma, Notation and Jazz.

The three songstresses have already started to make their mark appearing on legendary shows such as Soul Train and the Apollo Theatre as well as making the Billboard Charts for an unprecedented 14 weeks with their single Taurus Here while on the FYE summer promotional tour in 2005. They have even made their way into national sporting events performing the Star Spangled Banner for the NBA to open up the New Jersey Nets game. With their three-part vocal harmonies, powerful split-leads, rapping ability, fierce dance moves and lyrical content, Taurus is already being known for their showmanship and stellar performances.

Discovered by Joseph Wimbley III, CEO of Landmine Entertainment Inc., Taurus is well-equipped to become the next rising stars of the music industry. But well let you be the judge as the new album self-titled Taurus hits the radio airwaves. Says Wimbley, Taurus will undeniably be the next highly successful female group in the long legacy of superstars that have come before them.

Natives of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Doma (born May 14th), the 20-year old driving force behind the group, and Notation (April 30th), the 19-year old quiet storm of the trio, moved to Atlanta at an early age and have been shaking things up every since. An Atlanta native, Jazz (April 28th), the 18-year old essential element which completes the group, met the young ladies through a mutual friend and the rest, as they say, is musical history.

The groups first song Bounce sets the tone of the album and provides the listener with insight into the character of the group. Doma explains, This song is about someone thats constantly trying to change you into someone that they want you to be instead of accepting you for who you are. Jazz adds, And our message is, if they cant accept you for who you are, then they need to bounce. Notation summarizes it best, You have to know your own inner beauty and how to rid yourself of people that dont appreciate what you have to offer. This is just the first song of a very well put together album filled with real life circumstances over blazing hot beats.

The second highly anticipated song is I Need U 2, produced by Adonis who has worked with the likes of Usher, Omarion, Avant and Chris Brown. Guys are always approaching girls with the same old lines and we are telling them if you are going to step to us come with something different, expresses Jazz. Yeah, be original and come correct, exclaims Doma.

Then there is Taurus Here, a remake of the platinum seller Push It by rap legends Salt N Pepa with an R&B twist. Notation shares, When we were first presented with the track, we knew that we had to be tight in order to follow in their footsteps. Jazz offers, This song has put us on the map because it still touches the hearts of the ol skool yet it has enough flavor to capture the interest of younger hip hop fans. The song has a lot of energy and when we perform it, people go crazy. And crazy couldnt be further from the truthin less than four months, the group sold over 32,000 singles in malls and events throughout the Southeast. They also were noticed by Macys corporate headquarters and became their spokes models at various back to school events throughout the summer.

Learn The Hard Way takes you through a whirlwind of emotions while delivering beautiful vocal arrangements. If youve ever been concerned about someone that you love then you will be able to relate to this song, says Doma. It captures the feelings that we go through when we know that something isnt quite right with that person and you are trying to talk some sense into him before something bad happens, explains Jazz.

Then there are songs on the album like Crush and Oh that take us back to or has us presently in, depending on where you are in your life, a place where you meet someone that stirs your soul but you are either too afraid to approach them or it isnt quite the right time to pursue the relationship due to life circumstances.

Merry Go Round and Real Talk takes the listener to a story of unrequited true love that is heartfelt, undying and takes your breath away. The songs capture the very essence of love through extraordinary instrumentation and passionate vocal delivery. Stated perfectly, Doma surmises, Love takes you through so many changes because we are constantly evolving and there so many obstacles that get in our way, it feels similar to a merry go roundit goes round and round and there are ups and downs.

Then there is the hypnotic Heavy Chevy that celebrates the southern player riding on those twenty-fours and the sassy Do Your Thang Girl that tells women that its okay to let your hair down and to flaunt your natural beauty. As Notation puts it, We wanted to cover the realm of different situations that we as everyday people experience, have experienced or watched someone else experience at one time in their lives.

Taurus takes you through all of the emotions--from new love, to true love, to lost love and finally to self love. As Notation states, Our goal is to take you through a musical journey of life and love. Jazz adds, We want you to go through an array of feelings because thats what we all experience everyday. Yes Doma exclaims, And if you can relate to our songs, then weve accomplished what we set out to doconvey real life messages through music.
