Born and raised in Southern California, Tara Malia honed her skills and talent at an early age. A seasoned performer via her extensive dance & vocal training from the age of three, and musical upbringing. Her father, Roddy Gregory (a well known Hawaiian Musician), laid the foundation for her success as a blooming artist and entertainer. Drawing from her personal life experience on the streets of Highland Park/Los Angeles, in combination with her strong Spiritual and Cultural influence, Tara has emerged as a true star with a musical sound all her own. Within the past year, her savvy lyrics and warm tone caught the attention of some heavy hitters in the industry. From L.A. to N.Y., Tara's collaborations and interactions with various Production Camps include the likes of P.Diddy/Bad Boy Entertainment, Wyclef Jean/The Boogabasement Production, Noizetrip, K.O., Tuko, D.Q., and Cornelius/MindOverMuzikEntertainment.
A complete package, Taras lyricism and vocals will entice you; but dance/stage presence will keep you wanting more. Whether free-styling or on-point with choreography; if ever there was thought of a female entertainer on par with Usher or Aaliyah, she has arrived!
