tanake

tanake was born in florence in winter '99 from the ashes of a previous project [the innuats]. though its headquarter is in tuscany, it has a sardinian soul [like innuats. of course], all guys came in fact from nùoro.
[geographic lesson: sardinia is the island below corse, in the mediterranean sea. nùoro is a city in the heart of sardinia.]
formerly tanake's line up was formed by roberto, maurizio and martino [ex-innuats], after few months andrea [a bored guy from southern italy] started to collaborate till he definitively left the band. the project is exclusively instrumental: no lyrics, nor singing. maybe some yell.
tanake has two self.product cds [tsu.zu.ku | april.june 2000 and reazioni pilomotorie | june 2003 - march 2004] that can be downloaded from the audio section of its web site.
in may 2006 tanake, with the dirty collaboration of ivan rossi [8brr] as sound engineer, records it's third chapter, 3ree. that now is ready to be published by nipa.prodz, ebria records and fratto9 under the sky, and will be out in november-december 2007
in the early days [by the way: in the album tsu.zu.ku] tanake meant to reach structure by means of improvisation, but time left the songwriter soul all alone, and tanake's been surrounded by the never ending claustrophobic spaces of pure improvisation.
melody and cacophony, the opposites stays togheter in a meeting of melodic dissonances proud of generating rarefied climaxes slackenly generating anxiety, instruments stroken to create sweet melodies, or sometimes fondled till they roar their pain. trembling, greedy of eardrum to beat and caress.
tanake does not believe in music.biz, no music trading, no copyright, all tracks are covered by copyleft: all rights of the producer and of the owner of the reproduced work are free, unauthorized copying, hiring, lending, pubblic performance and broadcasting is desirable, please just declare its source this suits to every track signed tanake.

tanake ha all'attivo due cd autoprodotti [tsu.zu.ku | aprile.giugno 2000 e reazioni pilomotorie | giugno 2003 - marzo 2004]. nella sezione audio del proprio sito potrete scaricarli interamente.
nel maggio 2006 tanake si riunisce in sala e, con la colpevole collaborazione di ivan rossi [8brr] registra 3ree che finalmente a novembre-dicembre 2007 vedrà la luce grazie a nipa.prodz, ebria records e fratto9 under the sky
in principio [nell'album tsu.zu.ku] tanake attraverso l'improvvisazione arriva alla costruzione di brani, di pezzi finiti; col tempo però l'attitudine si sposta con sempre maggiore determinazione negli spazi claustrofobici e infiniti dell'improvvisazione pura.
melodia e cacofonia, gli opposti che si incontrano in dissonanze melodiche capaci di generare atmosfere rarefatte e rilassantemente ansiogene, strumenti percossi quasi a creare dolci melodie, talvolta accarezzati ruggiscono di dolore… trepidanti, cupidi dell'altrui timpano da violentare e cullare…
tanake non crede nella mercificazione della musica, nessun copyright, tutti i pezzi sono coperti da copyleft: «pubblici tutti i diritti del produttore fonografico e del proprietario dell'opera, sono auspicabili la duplicazione, il prestito e l'utilizzo di questo disco per la pubblica esecuzione e radiodiffusione, dichiarandone la fonte» questo troverete stampato su ogni lavoro firmato tanake.
