Tamer Fouda, a Beatport & iTunes Top 100 Chart hitter. The Boss of Quanza Records and one of the very few truly DJs in the Middle East who has been able to make it through to the international scene.
Born on the 10th of December in 1980 and hailing from Egypt, Tamer has created quickly for himself his own charisma and music line.
Started his music career in 2005 but in no time found himself touring by the year 2007 receiving bookings to countries like USA, Malaysia, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, Pakistan, Lebanon, Portugal, Bulgaria, Colombia, Canada, Kuwait and many others.
In 2007, Tamer signed for the World's best online radio station "friskyRadio" to host his monthly exclusive show "Drums Overdrive" after the huge success of his "Artist Of The Week" episode has made. Over 4,000 online listeners tune in to get their proper music treat.
In 2009, he was able to win the title of "Best Tribal/Prog House Artist in the Middle East" by Argentino Communitee Mag in Argentina.
2011 was a complete turnover and a very important station in Tamer's career. He started in Tribal House, but soon pushed aside that genre's limitations to add new, more subtle shades to his dancefloor palette. Minimal Techno & Techno were the new trends he has decided to go on through, when he was asked by many of his fans about the reason for the change, he said it was the right time to shift his sound to distinguish a real musician from the average DJ. And actually this has got him more into mainstream making it a brilliant step in his musical life.
The story went on as Tamer later in 2011 signed for the biggest French Online Radio Station "Electro Sound Radio" to host his new exclusive weekly show "MINUS" every Tuesday delivering the best and the latest Minimal Techno & Techno tunes out there on the scene.
No doubt that Tamer is one of the very few artists who has spent sleepless nights trying to give his audience what they're always expecting. A simple sentence but from a deeper look, it's a very hard equation that no one can figure it out except those who are created "Artists".
If you're a close person to Tamer, then by now you might have realized that all his day & night are spent either at his studio or clubbing when he has a booking.
In an interview with him in 2009, he was asked about his favorite place, and in no time he confidently answered: My studio.
From DJing to Production, Tamer has always signed his name with his tracks on the dancefloor.
