Talent Display (AKA "Display", "TalentD", "Da Snyper") was never trying to be different or be the same. TalentDisplay is just HIMSELF and he hopes you feel him for who he is.
Born in Brooklyn on March 25th, 1984 [American/Israeli who's grandparents migrated from Libya]. TalentDisplay lived in Brooklyn, New York briefly, later moving to Ramat-Gan, Israel. He moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of fifteen completely having to readjust everything in his life quickly.
When he was once asked what led him to pursue Hip-Hop/Rap and music in general, TalentDisplay has answered: "Expression is therapeutic to me. it's been my thing always was I mean. I fell in love with music really since I was young. I always listened to music of all kinds, Mediterranean to Rap to Country To Pop To Hip-Hop EVERYTHING as long as the music was good I listened to it".
Before meeting producer Luji "The Genie", through a mutual friend/RnB artist Nika Monay, TalentDisplay has recorded a couple of verses that were stolen (by some CONNIVING engineers). That has brought TalentDisplay down and led him to stop writing for a little while (especially after losing a folder of his that contained about 170 songs!!)
While "The Genie" is a great influence on TalentDisplay's music there are others who play a major part as well, his sister and family as a whole is consistently used as inspiration for many issues and topics reviewed by him, his best friends who have been there for a while proving their trust and loyalty through the ups and downs.
TalentDisplay is working with rappers such as T.o.B, The Profit, Loonie Da Prince, DW, Detox and many others. TalentDisplay is also working with producers such as Lyr1kz (D-Block, Dr. Dre's album "Detox", Koch/E-1, Universal, etc.), Pure Prophet Prod. (Lace Dosia, D dot Dolla, T.o.B, DjooKroo, etc.), David Wachs (Artist, Producer, Model, Actor, Entrepreneur), and so many many more.
TalentDisplay considers his supporters and their loyalty priceless. Not having time to weep over spilled milk, TalentDisplay soon became a writing machine and has written over 300 songs in less than 1 year! I would never fall…
At the moment, TalentDisplay is working on an official LP and another mixtape to be hosted by DJ Spinz and the street album "Between Scenarios" which should be out Sep. 09. Having three mixtapes recorded helps push the name but only now is TalentDisplay focusing on promo and marketing, building a label, shopping for beats, scouting artists, and much more…
TalentDisplay has been working non-stop on perfecting his flow and just getting better and better with anything and everything, especially when it seems to be impossible. Lyrics sometimes seem simple but they hit home with an impact only few could reach.
A close friend of TalentDisplay once said that "Seeing TalentDisplay working in the studio makes one feel as if his mind is in a Utopian state" TalentDisplay hopes you will feel the same. TalentDisplay travels a lot but says he "hopes to travel more often to more places around the world so [he] can spread his music touching as many as possible".
TalentDisplay who's an artist only after being a man who believes peace is possible, strongly believes in g-d supporting every religion as long as his is respected, and truly believes that loyalty plays a major part in life period. His TRUE FRIENDS he considers BROTHERS and SISTERS family always!! Everyone else are supporters, haters, acquaintances, etc.
At first. when TalentDisplay started rapping, he thought it wasn't going to reach anyone, but it did. matter fact it made people cry, laugh, wonder, and more. Constantly becoming better perfecting his flow, Freestyling Skills (although "[he] believes in making Music!), writing skills (TalentDisplay has written over 500 tracks! RnB included).
He keeps pushing forward hoping to open up more windows and more doors. A deal was real close in 04' but that was in the past, today TalentDisplay is better than ever!
With a few mixtapes under his belt ("357", ".justAsample", "Armed With A Dangerous Mind" and more) TalentDisplay has another mixtape coming out early 09 under the alias DaSnyper (alter ego), but before that's released, TalentDisplay's got a Limited Edition Street Album slated to only be pressed up to 2000 copies coming soon titled: "Between Scenarios"
TalentDisplay said he "feels like he is THE GREATEST PERIOD!" when asked why he spoke with what many call arrogance while others call confidence, he grinned and replied ".[Be]CAUSE THAT'S HOW YOU SHOULD FEEL WITH EVERYTHING YOU PUT YOUR EVERYTHING INTO".
TalentDisplay AKA DaSnyper hopes as many as possible will enjoy his music now and in the future, like many have in the past. P.S All TalentDisplay cares about is people enjoying the music, having many believers/supporters (some call them fans, i don't), having g-d with him, the jealous ones hate, his family/true friends/supporters healthy, and that cash (I KNOW $$$ IS NOT EVERYTHING) cause money might not buy you health, but it will buy you time to dedicate to your craft, and open windows to much more.
