Taint was a part of Queens, New York's local scene for 10 years. During that time they played countless shows in and around New York City and released many independent recordings including a demo tape (s/t - 1999), followed by 2 full length discs (For Us Crazy Kids - 2001 & Nothing To Lose, Nothing To Prove - 2003), a 5-song EP titled Kick Him When He's Down (2004) and their final full-length Second Round Knockout in 2007.
Taint were fortunate enough to share the stage with some incredible bands from many different genres, including: 5 Cent Deposit, Bomb the Music Industry!, Comin Correct, Endwell, Eyes Of Hate, From Autumn To Ashes, High School Football Heroes, The Mentors, Patent Pending, The Ratchets, River City Rebels, Sloppy Meateaters, Treephort, and many others.
