SYPHA BOYS

Sypha is an R&B group out of Long Island, New York. They write and compose all their own songs. Sypha is also a family oriented group. The members became a group when the youngsters Jalen, Narci and Reason used to listen and learn Boyces songs. One day Uncle Boyce was standing in the kitchen singing one of his songs and the boys shocked him with their incredible harmonizing and memorization of the song and the rest is history.
Their local competitions include:
~ Soul Café located in Manhattan NY, making it to the finals and coming in first place.~ Next, they preformed at Naga Saki located in Hempstead NY. Also coming into first place.~ In 2003, Sypha opened for Ashanti at the Huntington Town House in NY.~ In this same year they performed live for channel 12 news and received many positive reviews.~ They have also performed at Qs Lounge in Oakland, CA, shocking Cali with their intimate melodies.~ In Stockton, CA, they performed at a fundraiser to put a music studio in the Abernathy teen center. ~ Sypha has received beats from such notable producers as Chris Stokes.Since then Sypha has been performing at many other venues and have been on a variety of radio stations. They continue on there journey to becoming the number one group in America.
Jalen- He is the ear of the group. He hears all the mistakes and does everything that is necessary to fix them. Jalen encourages the group to better than their individual parts, which effects the group as a whole.
Reason- He fills in all the parts that are missing and smooths everything out. While in the booth, we never know what to expect from Reason. He shocks us over and over again with his extraordinary voice.
Narci- He is the voice of the group. Whenever they need to be heard Narci is there. He travel all around promoting the group while handling all the business affairs. Narci also does management, songwriting, and always looking for new talent to work with.
Yung B. Jones- He is the soul of the group. He handles all the harmonies and is looked up to by all the members. Yung B comes from a musical background. He has been singing and playing the drums since he was 5 years old. He is a songwriter and a composer. He has done collaborations with Keith Murray, the late, great Big Pun, Poetic from the Gravediggers. Yung B has also performed on th Steve Harvey radio show. In Feb 2006, he performed at Showtime at the Apollo. DeuBoyce is ready to bring back real music to the world. Without DeuBoyce there would be no Sypha.
