SYNRGY BIOGRAPHY:
syn·er·gy- (sin'?r-je) n.
1.The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.
We, the band Synrgy, try to take this definition into the
realm of the music we create, and our relationship with our
audience. Since we formed in spring of 2007, we have seen that we are better and stronger together, and we have the potential to heal with this music the people call SYNRGY.
We formed in Flagstaff Arizona in April of 2007. After becoming one of the most locally recognized bands in the area, we decided to spread our wings into the bigger skies to the West. So we left our friends, our lovers, our fans, and our families to relocate to Humboldt County California, to embrace the culture that only Northern California had to offer us.
Early 2010 celebrated the release of our Debut album “live in love”, which
the band will be touring to promote. we have had the honor of sharing the stage with international acts such as Yellowman, Soja, Rebelution, Badfish, etc.
Synrgy is not just the name of our band or just our mentality, it also describes our sound. We each have different styles of playing and different musical influences, which leads to the diverse sound that the people love. Built with a backbone of reggae, but limbs and organs that include funk, rock, and spanish samba, we make an interesting creature few can describe. But this music that we create is for all who are willing to hear with an open ear, an open heart, and an open mind. The conscious messages entwined in the songs aspire to inspire the minds of all who can percieve them. And the music demands movement from the audience, which makes our shows an experience few forget.
We can only hope to have the pleasure of meeting people who have our same goal in mind: To spread this music to everyone we can, and to enjoy the smiles along the way.
