Biography

At Grenada's 2008 Carnival Celebrations, Synnnah would ask his disciples the question, “Do you know the ten commandments of a Jab Jab?”  To this Question his faithful followers would answer “yes we do.”   Then he would commence to inform them in song of   the rules a Jab Jab must live by.

His hit single titled “Ten Commandments of a Jab Jab” has taken Grenada by storm and is rapidly making its way around the world to other West Indian Day Carnivals. It is this song that has earned him the title King of the Jab Jabs.

Synnnah has now signed a licensing deal with the United States based record label ISV Entertainment. This is a move that will definitely help in taking his brand of music to an international market.

Unique, innovative, humorous and Mysterious are some of the words often used to describe his music. He is an artist that's not afraid to fail and is constantly experimenting and pushing the boundaries of music.

Synnnah is a former winner/King of the New York/Grenada Independence competition. The Members of Garageband.com voted one of his rap songs the most original of all time. His last album topped the Billboard College Charts at number 5 resulting in an offer of a recording contract from Chicago based Esntion Records. The world famous Klubjumpers who have worked with artist such as P Diddy and Mariah Carey have recently remixed his “Oh Girl” Song. Synnnah states that his main goal at the moment is to introduce Jab Jab music to the world and let them feel the hypnotic beats of the drums and heed the call of the Conch shell. So lets' recap, Calypso champion, number five on Billboards College rap chart, number one Jab song in Grenada and now he has the hottest buzz in the Dance/house music world with his Klubjumpers remix. In an age where marketing executives want you to specialize in one genre of music what's a Synnnah to do?

Synnnah Hails from the Village of Tempe in the Caribbean Island of Grenada. With An absent mother and father he was raised by His very Strict and religious Grandparents. It is here at the age of 6 where the elders of the Village recognized that he had the ability to play the African drums and sing at the same time and thus was recruited into their inner circle. At thirteen he migrated to the United States and was introduced to the sounds of Hip Hop, Rock and Jazz. The cultural diversity of New York City played a major role in developing his unique style. He was surrounded by every race and creed of people and took advantage of it by learning as much as he could about their world and absorbing their music.
