COMUNICADO CAMBIO DE NOMBRE!!!!!!
Después de 5 años trabajando bajo el nombre de SWEET OBLIVION BAND nos vemos en la obligación - por razones legales y para evitar confusiones - de cambiar el nombre de la banda. Este es un buen momento para hacerlo, aprovechando la salida al mercado de nuestro segundo disco.
Nada cambiará en el mundo S.O.B en cuanto a lo musical, ya que seguimos por el mismo camino con los cambios típicos de toda evolución, pero la actitud es y será siempre la misma. Por supuesto, jamás renunciaremos a nuestra etapa S.O.B .
Este disco ha sido grabado en los estudios Planta Sónica de Vigo por Pancho Suarez de Lis y bajo nuestra propia producción. Para la masterización contamos con Alan Douches en los estudios West West Side Music de New York, donde masterizaron grupos como Mastodon, My Morning Jacket, Clutch, Hole, Monster Magnet, The Misfts, Fleetwood Mac, Pete Townsed, etc…,
Fichamos por Shiroten Records, discográfica madrileña joven y con ganas de trabajar.
El disco se llamará "AWEN" y saldrá a la venta el 12 de septiembre. Empezaremos la gira de presentación el 27 de Agosto. En agosto también podréis ver y escuchar el single de presentación en formato videoclip.

ANNOUNCEMENT SWEET OBLIVION BAND
After 5 years working under the name SWEET OBLIVION BAND, we found ourselves in the position - for legal reasons and to avoid confusion - to change the name of the band. We are going to release our second album in a couple of months and we don't want any confusions about it.
Nothing will change in the world SOB as we will continue working the same way but with the typical changes of evolution, our attitude is and will always be the same. Of course, we'll never deny our SOB period. Our first record "Melted to oblivion" will be reissued under the new name of the band.
Our new album was recorded at Planta Sonica, in Vigo (Spain), by Pancho Suarez de Lis and under our own production. Alan Douches did the mastering at West West Side Studies Music in New York, where other bands such as Mastodon, My Morning Jacket, Clutch, Hole, Monster Magnet, The Misfits, Fleetwood Mac, Pete Townsend, etc… have mastered as well.
We signed with Shiroten Records, a young record label from Madrid very eager to work.
The album is called "Awen" and it will be on sale after September 12th. The tour will start August 27th. In August as well, you'll be able to watch the first video of the album.
We have so many news that you better pay attention to your screen if you don't want to miss anything. But most important of all, from today on we'll be:
