You could call them "blanched". Boiled shortly and cooled off right away. Proceeded like this for more than ten years. Lying on stage, feeling the heat of the night, tasting sweat. Suddenly let go of and diving into ice cold water. The surface is hardened, but the color kept alive. Technical literature describes it like this. Mickey und Skunky nod in agreement and glance at the fresh Monkey-vegetable behind the cauldrons. They have all been boiled inside different kettles through the early years. Two of them have leapt into same water four years ago which has been spiced up once in a while since then. Water blanched over and over. no success. Until the third essential fruit landed inside the evolving stew 2006. Together, they cook with more than water.

Hefty guitars, chili-hot drum madness, funky basslines that stick to the palate, and vocals that sweeten the dispatch. They add a dash of Rock n’ roll from the cooler once in a while.

By now, they can be found in almost every club in Berlin, or at home on their self-produced debut “Move on Devil”. Second album to be released in May 2009.

They are easy to peel and don't make a big deal out of it. It has to be more than good looking vegetables or overspiced soup, firm and juicy, far from being foul or overripe. They say that the determined kernel is the key. So they speak, turn up the amps and jiggle the drums. Sweet teeth, unite!
