Sweet Island Thyme made it's debut in 2002 on the Winter Solstice. Since then SIT has produced two albums (From Here to There and Back Again and No Band is an Island). The band has performed before Bobby Vega, David Nelson Band, Flowmotion, Shanti Groove, Ashbury Park, and after parties for Dark Star Orchestra, Moe, Sound Tribe Sector Nine and the Everyone Orchestra.
Playing festivals including "the Spring Fling 2003 and 2004", "Shining Stars Festival 2004", "the Black Sheep Gathering 2004 and 2006", "the May Meltdown 2005", "the Summer Hummer 2005" and "the 2006 Emerald Empire Hempfest"
In the studio SIT has worked with Joe Craven (David Grisman Quintet), Julian Fritz (Sasha Butterfly Band, Satya Yuga the Everyone Orchestra) and Brad Erichsen (Disco Organica). On stage SIT has had countless guests join them including Priyo and Michael Saint John (Lost at Last, Gypsy Moon), Randy Probst and Sean Jackson (Jupiter Hollow), Naomi Cotler (the Banjo Girl, Charley's Barley, Barefoot Nellie) and Jerry Stone (Bamiki) to name a few.
