Hey yawl its me! I started playing the piano at age 5. My mom and my grandmother played the piano, so i would imitate what they were doing.My dad plays the bass so thats where i get all that FUNK from(listening to that ole Bros Johnson and Larry Graham all the time) I officially took lessons from the late Mamie Ronca. I attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Oklahoma City University, Virginia commonwealth University and recieved my BA/ Fine Arts .cum laude.at Howard University 94.
I studied with Barbara Durost, Michael Patterson, Kim Tucker,Dorothy Dash, Davey Yarborough,Greg and Chuck Royal,Hilton Felton,Atrius Flemming,Bob Hallihan, and Geri Allen.
I also played the violin and won numerous piano and violin city-wide competitions. I was also crowned Miss DC Teen (i only entered so that i could win a trip to Hawaii.didnt think i would win!)
The past 15 years have been such a blessing for me because I've had the privilege to perform with and establish wonderful frienships with my heroes such as: Wynton Marsalis,Pieces of a Dream, George Duke, Nile Rodgers and Chic,Maysa,Chuck Brown, Sugar Bear, EU,Sir Elton John, Patti LaBelle,Stephanie Mills,Omar Hakim,Gerald Veasley, Ronny Jordon, Najee, Prince,Angela Bofil, Phil Perry, Allyson Williams, Marcus Miller,Tony Terry,Miles Jaye,Irene Cara,Maxine Nightingale, Thelma Houston, Anita Ward, Chaka Khan, Lenny White, Taylor Dane,Richard Smallwood,Kid Rock,Sugar Hill Gang,and Stevie Nicks.just to name a few.
I love to travel and i have been extemely blessed to see the entire world, except for Africa and Australia.
My favorite countries are France, Italy, Switzerland, Greece and London.oh yeah, i also LOVE the Carribean!

Well folks there you have it! As you can see i enjoy what i do and i wouldn't trade it for the world. The road life has its ups and downs, but I'm a trooper.
