~~~~~ Formed in 2005 by frontman Gig Michaels and drummer David Lee, SwampDaWamp is a melting pot of their musical influences, combining to form an infectious blend of Rock, Blues, R & B and Country, resulting in a unique rock-country edge sound distinctly their own. Whether listening to their CDs or experiencing a live performance, fun is the name of the game with this band. While instantaneously becoming known for their party atmosphere, high energy live shows, SwampDaWamp has amassed a rapidly growing fan base. Their universally engaging appeal and contagious sound has touched people of all ages and backgrounds and turned them into instant fans. SwampDaWamp has shared the stage with the likes of .38 Special, The Marshall Tucker Band, Gary Allen, Craig Morgan, and Shooter Jennings, as well as performing on Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man Cruise in 2010 and 2011.
