Ever since her first official gig back in 1996 at a little club in Cologne called Kantine, Suzi Suzuki has been rocking dancefloors around the world.
Initially spinning trance under the DJ moniker "Constance Journey", Suzuki attracted a loyal local following that soon spread the word and resulted in her gaining exposure well beyond Germany. She began touring the globe, playing sets in the UK, Israel, Switzerland, Greece, France, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, and New Zeeland. While at home, Suzuki rocked big stages for German summer events like Voov Experience, Summer Dance, and Fusion, and released tracks on leading labels like Cosmophilia, Tip Records, and Flying Records (UK).
In Spring 2002, after hearing a Tobi Neumann set that deeply inspired her, Suzuki began to feel the limitations of trance and embraced a more house-y style. And thus, she played a farewell gig as "Constance Journey". Not long after, a new star was born: Suzi Suzuki, a tastemaker who started to energize and fascinate audiences with sexy, funky tech-house beats, and a little minimal-tech thrown in for good measure. Her selection of music and mixing skills continue to impress, as she regularly spins at premier clubs and music festivals all around the world.
Starting in 2004, Suzuki teamed up with a talented colleague to form the girl-DJ duo "2dirty". With optically extraordinary shows, they drive the crowds of small underground clubs crazy. In 2005, Suzuki played in Ibiza again. The wide variety of fresh and amazing music on the "White Isle" inspired her to get back into the studio and start producing again. Suzuki expects to release several tracks every few months, and her super-sexy beats are sure to invigorate dancefloors whereve they are dropped.
