Here's the video for "Bet You Like Me Now"

Suzi and her father Billy kick-started Suzis musical journey by jammingWith Suzi on teething rings! In fact, they still collaborate today and it's a lovely thing.

In 2000 Suzi graduated from high school and went off to Ireland to explore the scene there and record a demo at Ritchie Buckley's (sax/ Van Morrison) studio. An opportunity to meet Bono and The Edge while in Ireland, proved to be a major inspiration for Suzi. From there, she spent some time in the Caribbean, sailing, writing new songs and playing some cool island venues.

After a stint teaching funk and swing performance dance in Montreal in 2001, Suzi headed back to British Columbia. In 2002 her first band was born. "Suzi Rawn and the Rascalators," they played summer festivals, nightclubs and other local/regional gigs Fun times!!

On her own, Suzi produced her first CD titled "On My Own". The CD was released in 2002. In late January 2004 Suzi decided to draw on the energy of some local B.C. musicians. Well, how 'bout "King Size Suzi". The band headed right for the studio, to work on their originals and eventually released two indie CDs. Green Eyed Monster, and Because Of Love. They toured Western Canada for some time and built a promising fan base . then, Suzi auditioned for Canadian Idol.

Suzi Rawn, Canadian Idol Season 3's rock chick extraordinaire, was stalled for some time after the competition, having been wowed by typical music industry parasites. A lesson of the big league! She joined forces with Mission Controls James (Jim) Campbell for Management, ouch! Campbell also managed? Idol alumni Kalan Porter, Melissa O'Neil and Rex Goudie. Campbell's lip service was, "Suzi is the real deal! With her solo debut, Suzi stays true to her musical roots and influences, but brings a strong contemporary edge to the songs, that along with her uniquely passionate and energetic performance style, truly sets her apart from the pack. Idol fans so loved what Suzi delivered each week, that her final performance garnered a million votes!" A string of unfulfilled promises and shady business left Suzi disenchanted. "The Idol show was fun. the stuff that follows the show is disgraceful." Suzi wrote a book about it all.

Suzi learned a lot about the production side of the business teaming up with producers Harry Hess and Pete Lesperance. The album "Naked" was recorded in the late spring of 2006 at Vespa Studios in Toronto. Suzi wrote or co-wrote 4 songs on the CD and plans to retain total control next time out. Its so cool, recording with people like Harry and Pete.

Even through the "Star-Maker-Machinery" type production, Suzi's passion, energy, and commitment leave her feeling good about some of the songs on the CD "Naked".

Suzi wrote her first tune at the age of eleven. Suzi has learned lots and recognizes that music is a lifepath not a glitze machine and that like life itself it has it's ups and downs. But she often iterates - "this is what I do, it gives me a feeling of life purpose."

"I'd like my career path to remind(ing) people of the peace, love and respect for humankind that was fought for, back in the sixties," "Music is the smile on the face of modern culture and it can help change the world. No one can ever do that alone, but perhaps I can help."
