DARIUS

Darius was born with a passion for music. Having played instruments from an early age, Darius began his music career playing in various bands and writing music in various genres. Soon finding himself fascinated with electronic music, artists such as Daft Punk provided Darius with a bridge into this new genre.



With the experience of DJ-ing clubs and parties since 2000, Darius is an extremely versatile and can regularly be seen playing sets for main room, warm up, recovery and everything in between. Darius’ DJ style and productions are loosely based around influences from tech-house and electro.



Darius holds DJ residencies and has played at various venues around Melbourne including Circus, Q Bar, The Metro (now The Palace), Billboard and Mothers Milk. He has also supported many international artists such as Malente, Eric Laville, Zoo Brazil, Brett Johnson, Yousef, Duoteque and more. Darius has experience performing at various electronic music festivals, such as Kiss My Grass, Stereosonic and Climate Festival alongside artists including Richard Dinsdale, Junkie XL, DJ T, Tommy Lee and DJ Aero, Mark Mendes, Klaas, Ian Carey and many more.



After working in the music industry for a number of years various other highly respected artists, producers and engineers, Darius took in what he learned from the best and began to produce his own tracks. Still maintaining strong links to the music industry, Darius now focuses strongly on his production and has collaborated with a number of notable local and international artists.
