Suhgarim was formed near Venice, Italy, by Singer Trish Fleury & Guitarist Dave Anthony. They have released one EP & one full length CD. In 2009 they signed to UK hard rock and metal label Ravenheart Records. In 2011 original band members, Glenn Traweek (Guitar and Keyboards) and Hank Thomas (Bass) rejoined the band for the recording of their second full length. Suhgarim has returned to it's roots nod to the old school bands that inspired them. They are currently in pre-production for their next CD and have released the title track single which was produced by Rick Beato (Shinedown, Crossfade, Scott Stapp). Suhgarim has shared the stage with The Bullet Boys, Wednesday 13, Pop Evil, Trust Company, Sponge, Blessed by a Broken Heart, Hydrovibe, Ligion, Fixer, Know Lyfe, Joan Red, Black Ritual, Zelazowa, and hundreds of other bands. Suhgarim's sound has been called, "as original as their name, the love child of Queensryche, Megadeth and Heart, alt - ethereal modern metal and combining the sounds and style of Dio and Iron Maiden". Propelled by the electrifying stage presence of Trish Fleury and the guitar antics of Dave Anthony and dual guitar assault of Glenn Traweek Suhgarim's shows are a return to the very roots of Rock N Roll and what concerts were meant to be! Filled with unpredictable and uncontrolled abandon their stage shows not only bring audience and band together in communal rock ecstasy but balance on the precipice of danger! Like an orgie of Rock N Roll raw energy a Suhgarim show is a free for all and an experience to remember! Suhgarim holds every audience spell bound and energized that recalls the early days of the MC5, The Stooges and AC DC. No matter what comparison one draws, one thing is for certain, "Suhgarim is bad ass rock and roll!"

"This is one of those albums, that you find a new favorite track with each subsequent listen, for now, my favorite is the dramatic closer, "Portland". Just a great song with fittingly powerful lyrics. The vocals of Trish Fleury are powerful and go straight for the jugular, the guitar work by Dave Anthony and Charles Traweek is stellar as the riffs just keep on coming. Suhgarim add the best elements of classic bands such as AC/DC, Guns N' Roses with the technical precision and musicianship of latter day Queensryche and Megadeth. The songs have a decidedly metallic edge to them that really put, "Between Life And Death" over-the-top for me. 9 out of 10!"
Tony Canella - Femme Metal - UK
"Between Life and Death is a modern old school metal style album. Trish Fleury is a strong distinctive singer, and if you like Lauren Harris you'll like her. The riffs on this album are hard hitting and melodies are very catchy; "Loser" is a top song and will no doubt be an absolute killer onstage! "Between Life and Death" is a total surprise and Suhgarim are more than welcome in the over crowded genre of female fronted metal bands.
Neil Daniels - Power Play Rock & Metal Magazine, UK

"It looks like Queensryche, Megadeth and Heart had a baby.and its called.Suhgarim!!!"
Angie Seshun
Rockafellas Reunion 2007

"A wildly popular metal band with a rare signature style."
- Dino Lull, Metro Spirit, Augusta GA.
"After losing everything in a fire, Suhgarim still managed to release their first full length CD. If that isn't Rock N Roll, then I don't know what is!"
Otis Taylor, The State

"classic metal and hard rock with the ferocious hooks of "Hate" and "Portland," a cautionary tale of victimized homeless children that rocks as hard as anything by Flyleaf, Evanescence or other female-fronted rockers Suhgarim gets compared to."

- Kevin Oliver, The Free Times, Columbia, SC

"Suhgarim is a female-fronted band that takes it's cues from 80's metal gods Motley Crue and adds the modern influences and dramatics of bands such as Evanescence."
- Michael Wood

"There is something about Trish Fleury's vocals that I find rather captivating. There is enough power here to light up the whole of London! And guitar solos to die for!"
- Dave Smith, Ravenheart Music, London, UK

"Suhgarim's frequent local gigs have earned it a fervent fan base and for good reason. Trish Fleury's vocals draw easy comparisons to Evanescence or Lacuna Coil, while the music is a more welcoming alt-ethereal metal. Viva la difference!"
- J. Cataldo
Free Times & WARQ
"I have to say the band's arrangements are as unique as their name. The music has that 80's nostalgia feel to it. I hear a little Iron Maiden, with a Ronnie James Dio twist to it. And yet, they have that progressive metal edge to it all. Trish has that operatic feel to her voice, and her lyric structure is intense and well organized, the collaboration of guitars is very skillful and thought out. Patt's drumming is nothing short of impressive with great beats that blend very well, and the bass is deep and moody"
