Biografía:
Sudden Smile se inicia en el año de 1999 pero no es hasta 2001 que se consolida con los integrantes más antiguos de la alineación de hoy en día que son Paco y Diego, que tratan de emprender la lucha por el sueño de la música con el fin de crear algo nuevo y original. Después de intentos en vano con diferentes músicos es cuando conocen a Luis, amigo desde la secundaria de Diego. Él es invitado a los ensayos y su forma de tocar hace que se gane su lugar dentro de la alineación. El problema del grupo es que siempre sufrió de baterista, no es hasta entonces que conocen al último integrante y por lo tanto el más nuevo, Víctor, que al ver su desempeño en la batería y percusiones demuestra ser capaz de estar en Sudden Smile, esto por supuesto de haber tenido otros bateristas, donde al fin Víctor logra destacar.
La alineación llevo bastantes años en lograrse y no fue hasta el 2008 que termina de estructurarse, eso nunca significó que Paco, Diego y Luis no trabajaran en Sudden Smile, ya que siempre se contó con una diferencia de estilos musicales, como de personalidades y así creando una universalidad con el sonido característico de Sudden Smile
El sonido de Sudden se crea a partir de una necesidad por abstraer la realidad de una manera creativa y exagerada para así no tener la menor duda de lo que se trata de transmitir en cuanto a sonidos y confundir la idea concreta por medio de la letra, ofreciendo una gama de frases generales y personales que cada quién puede acomodar conforme a su necesidad por aliviarse.
Buscan transmitir la historia y la esencia de cada miembro con su propia visión del mundo que vive y hacer una fusión entre cuatro historias y visiones diferentes, quieren sumergir al espectador a través de sonidos e imágenes que cobren sentido con símbolos y significados. Cada mirada es una combinación de miles de detalles que se expresan por medio de reacciones consientes e inconscientes. Es un placer imaginar todos los elementos que formaron un si o un no a una pregunta o situación.

As their playfully ironic name suggests sudden smile try to demure a state of contained fury hiding an euphoric meaning with a mask of sadness, calmness or rationality.
Having seven house first albums sudden smile found a first sound trying to play with opposite feelings, comparing the kid happiness with the deaf people.
Creating for the young listener a state of mind that will operate like a shield against “the others”.
(shield, tired, unreality, dramatic, new, home, inside 1998-2005)
Later, sudden smile got a significant transformation finding the current members reaching the best work of sudden smile.
(Hope, inoculation, 2004-2007)
“Hope” contains an involved concept with remakes old songs (Musical pigs, shield of lunacy, I’ll be alive)
And a fruitful work from the current members with songs like closed with chains, waste basket, empty song, tell me something, hope, why friend, etc.
“Inoculation” explains how the people can support the changes manipulating themselves.
With songs like pity, a mistake, an old young old man, a vain attempt, let’s go fishing.
Now a day sudden smile plays for a Fundamental coherence with the music that challenges the mind while expressing intense passion and belief.
There were several names like death angels (dark melodic metal), Spirback (happy punk), Ephemeral (depressive) those names seemed to be extremely different genres, therefore, their general ideological concept did trend to be the same.
These experiments seemed to rather a specific genre, but could never be defined because of age and lack-of-skills reasons
After several educative tryouts with different musicians, back in 2001 when Paco (vocal/bass) meets Diego (guitar) at high school, he had a band called "tu mamá", which only existed until their very first gig.
When the band split, Diego looks forward to belong to a band that could stay together for longer, with that idea, he meets paco around the high school, and thus they decide to join together so they could fund a band.
Primarily the band was about to be called "the dude session" to make something completely different, after some months together, the name took the name "sudden Smile", because there was a lot of material that could be fixed. They spend some years being only two members, there were alternative bands were they played covers or even pop. By 2006 Diego decided to invite Luis (guitar) to the band, Diego's friend since junior high school. Being invited, he had to earn the membership in the band. Sudden Smile's main problem was the lack of a steady drummer; it's not until 2007 when they meet Victor, the newest member of the band, who they thought the band was ready to reach their objectives
The band always had different musical styles. They always were plenty of musical styles and personalities among sudden smile members but now something is different.
