Suburban Base came into existence in October 2003 in Milan. Abe (voice), Gigamesh (guitar) and Baz (drums) leave their former bands after years spent together and involve two other friends of theirs, Jesus (guitar) and Coffee (bass), to complete the new line up.

The first songs are soon written and the band immediately undertakes its path with passion and convintion. A few months later, in March 2004, they record in Milan's Noise Factory their first ep/demo containing 5 tracks. This homonym ep is well reviewed on webzines, both Italian and foreign, and rock magazines (Rock Sound, Punkster, Rock Har). The audience also appreciates their work and even more the way the music's brought on stage.

There's no denying that Suburban Base give their best in live performances where they can freely let their strenght and energy loose. They get to play in the most important italian clubs, such as Rolling Stone, Magazzini Generali, Buddha Cafè, Lucille, Pussy Rock, Rock Club, Garage Rock, Heineken Club, Puget Sound and more.

Besides, among the many bands they play with, they share the stage with bands like Guilty Method, Skw and Matmata In Summer 2005 the five guys record, along with producer Giovanni Spinotti, their first full length album in the studio of Mattia Stancioiu (Labyrinth). The album, which contains 11 songs, expresses a greater maturity for its composition and its musical versatility: alternative rock with many undertones, very melodic yet never forsaking power and energy. Chamber music and synth arrangements only add to the rich and colourful texture of the songs. In one track Gianmario Ragazzi from Matmata appears as guest singer. Sublimation will be distributed in early 2006.

In September 2005 Jesus leaves the band; some moths later Andy, an amazing guitarist and friend, joins the band. Suburban Base start their fast march taking them into even wider tours, all throughout Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, Netherlands and the UK (together with friends LostFoundBroken). Strengthened by a full years' live experience, they start rehearsing and composing and are due in studio soon with producer/sound engineer Pat Simonini.

Stay tuned!
