Né en 2001, en Vendée, Stubborn est composé de 5 membres. Influencés par la scène Hardcore New Yorkaise (Sick of it all, Madball, All out war…) mais aussi française (Kickback, Stormcore,…), ils n'oublient pas pour autant la bonne vieille scène punk bien de chez nous.
Ceci leur a permis de jouer avec des groupe tels que BORN FROM PAIN, NOSTROMO, KICKBACK, RIGHT FOR LIFE, 25 ta LIFE, ONESTA et beaucoup d'autres encore, car telle est leur envie : jouer sur scène un putain de Hardcore ravageur et énergique pour vous défoncer le crâne et vous donner envie de tout casser !!
Stubborn enregistre un premier EP, "Careless Life" qui sort en mai 2004
2 tournées se sont même déroulées en 2005 avec les Anglais de KNUCKLEDUST en Belgique et Bretagne puis en mars 2006, pour la sortie du premier album "Settling of scores", avec les Allemands de SETTLE THE SCORE dans l'est de la France et sur Paris.
En octobre 2009 le groupe sort son deuxième album "Bless This Mess" enregistré au Nomad Audio. Stubborn est désormais à la recherche de dates afin de le promouvoir.
2011 : 10 ans après ses débuts Stubborn est toujours vivant, à la recherche de date et en pleine composition.

Born on the west french coast (Vendee?!?)in 2001, Stubborn is about five friends influenced by the (NY)HC scene (like Sick of it all, Madball, All out war.) also the french one (Kickback!!!, Stormcore.) but will never forget where they come from: real french punk scene of the "Matsa Caf"crew.
We have been really proud to open for bands like : BORN FROM PAIN, NOSTROMO, KICKBACK, RIGHT FOR LIFE, 25 ta LIFE, ONESTA and more, 'cause that's what we love overall : play on stage a fuckin' thrue hardcore with hate and energy in order to make you become crazy!! Don't give a fuck about what the others think, fashionable looks, gimmicks and all these shits, we just think that you have to stand and be yourself by yourself!!!
First recording in july 2003: 3 unforgotable days in Paris for a Five tracks cd out in May 2004!! "CARELESS LIFE" always available. STUBBORN plays as much as they can and look for a label.
May 2005, a tour with KNUCKLEDUST (ass kicking UK HxC) and then another one in March 2006 with SETTLE THE SCORE (fuckin' real good HxC). We spent with those guys some real good times and it has been an honnor for us to learned about them (thX friends)!!
In 2009, STUBBORN records the second album "Bless this Mess" at Nomad Studio. It is out so prepare yourself, STUBBORN's gonna kick your ass !
2011 : 10 years after, Stubborn is still alive, lookin' for shows and preparing new stuff.
