Stroll On

Stroll On was a band from Drammen, started by Filip sometime around 2003, with various members and sounds over the years (in the earliest days we were known under several other names, best forgotten) - but always some sixties/acid inspiration. We recorded a couple of EPs (Songs of Innocence and Record) and a single (Michelle/ Girls in the sun), plus an LP in the summer of 08 that has not been released. above is a jam from the recording of the album, with Peder on Rhodes and Martin on bass. During the years we played about a hundred concerts in literally all kinds of places, and had a good time doing so.

Some highlights were supporting The Cheaters at the 13thfloor club,

Buddy scene in spring 08, Promenaden in Sandefjord, 37 in Horten, Helge Lindås Beatles/Stones party where we played Tomorrow Never Knows, Helter Skelter and Yer Blues way beyond the limits of decibel(!), the first parkteateret gig where some kid pulled out the main power supply in the middle of the set, Michelles legendary birthday parties in Nøtterøy and many others, not forgetting the endless union scene gigs. It was always live that we got the good sound , sadly we never captured that on tape.



Martin and Filip are now playing in WIND. Drummer Ask has his own group Manjolia Mountains.
