America loves tales of opposites attract; a seemingly apparent
oxymoron coming together to make magic happen. Aladdin and Princess
Jasmine, Ike and Tina, you get the idea. Meet America’s next great
tale: Street Symphony, a man who embodies the hardcore grit of the
hood, with the upper echelons of fine music to create one of the
prominent sounds of the future.
The well traveled Street Symphony has a catalog as diverse as the
cities he’s lived in (born in Memphis, raised in Nashville, resided in
both Houston and Atlanta). If you check the credits of some of your
favorite artists, you may soon realize that you’ve been getting ya
groove on to his sound and didn’t even know it. He’s put in work with
artists such as Ludacris, Mobb Deep, as well as Keyshia Cole
(engineering “Heaven Sent,” which reached 1 on the 2008 R&B Billboard
Charts). Why is he in such demand? Peep “Look Like This” by Lil
Scrappy, and you’ll have ya answer. Street makes, what he likes to
call “Maniac Music ,” tracks that from note one will have thugs
breakin’ bottles over heads, and freaks showing how low they can go.
Then, almost as if his name was Clark Kent, he hops into the phone
booth and transforms his sound to a lush R&B/Euro-Pop sound,
immediately ready for the Top 40 radio stations (check “Don’t Go”). “I
have no limits,” Street accurately says about his sound. With future
collaborations in the works with more Billboard charting artists,
you’d best get to know Street now before you can’t afford him. “I’m a
humble dude. I’m open to working with anyone willing to get it in.”
