Biography
Stomp is an italian hard rock band born in 2005.
Deggi, Misha and Galva met at school,
and, after few years and some experiences in other bands, decided to work together.
In the first ever Stomp line-up Marco (also know as "La Sagoma") was figuring as the drummer,
but soon some incomprehensions and time problems divided the two parts.
Stomp performed several concerts in 2006 with Gimmi ("War Machine") at the drums
approching a heavier sound, but at the end of summer he leaves by mutual consent
agreement.
Berta than took place behind the toms, taking the band to a softer level, but still remaining
strongly anchored to its rock roots. Right when the band was acquiring popularity, also due to
the first (and only, till now) official Demo, Berta suddenly leaves the band actually with no
believable reasons and fades away.
After a short period of personal and musical crisis, the band tried one more time to begin
a new life thanks to Vince, once again drumming.
Concert after concert, the feeling was strengthing more and more, Stomp reached a high level
of technique, charisma, and live entertainment.
As always, when things seem to settle, something's got to break up:
of course, also Vince has left Stomp (leaving his spot to the newest member Mario),
taking his hard street to a bigger success.
The fact is that we don't need no pussies in our band, no idiots, no weathercocks, no headcocks.
Only someone that wants to rock.
