In the Spring of 1999, singer/guitarist Christopher Headcase & his former roadie, Omar "El GoOn" Insurriaga founded STILL I STAND. After several failed attempts with drummers, rythmn guitarists, & female vocalists, in March of 2000, B.G.Owen signed on as the bands new skin man. Feeling incomplete in the winter of 2003, Mark "MaRkUbUs" Martinez came aboard as the bands 2nd lead vocalist. In mid 2005 Mike "Zero" Hatecase rejoined the band as their backing rythmn guitarist. In the winter of 2005, Omar "El GoOn" Insurriaga informed the band that he could no longer give the band his all and thus bid farewell to his brothers. In January of 2006, Sergio Azpeitia, signed up as the bands new bass fiddleman.

Since their formation STILL I STAND has produced 3 studio albums, set up their own recording studio (Casa De Luz Studios) and have currently released those albums under their own indie label (Park Street Records) until they can find a label they can call home.

In the summer of 2003, STILL I STAND released their debut album "Divided We Fall." on Park Street Records, a first for the band. On New Years Eve of 2004, the band unveiled its 2nd release, The Backalley Chronicles Vol. 1, as well as the creation of Casa De Luz Studios, in honor of Christopher & Mike's late Grandmother. In late 2005, STILL I STAND began structuring their 3rd album, "Through All This.", which the band released on June 2nd 2007.

Throughout their time together, STILL I STAND has had the pleasure of gracing the stage with many amazing bands national & local. Their stage debut came 21 days after their formation, as an opening act for GOLDFINGER, which had them banned from that club for a year due to the bands rowdy antics on and off stage. A year later they returned to that venue as they took part in an Earth Day festival that solidified their staying power. Since their first memorable concert, STILL I STAND has shared the stage with such local acts as STRAIGHT RAZOR SUICIDE, FEAR TO SAIL, HOMETOWN LETDOWN, FIXED IDEA, D.E.K., IRISH CAR BOMBS, CAT AS TROPHY, MANDOLA, FUELED II FIRE, KILLING OUR OWN, THE RED QUEEN EFFECT, CRASH KENNEDY, INNOCENT EXILE, SPEED RAZOR, LOSERS, etc, and national acts such as THE INDEPENDENTS, MICHALE GRAVES, THE WRECKING DEAD, A VOID, VENA CAVA, THE EYELINERS, HEADNOISE, STEREOTYPERIDER, THE AGGROLITES, MAX CADY, THE MURDER JUNKIES, NOGGIN TOBOGGAN, CLIT 45, THE VIBRATORS,

LOWER CLASS BRATS, THE UNITED, BORN TO LOSE, THE FIRST WAVE, FAR FROM FINISHED, CASKET LIFE, DEPHINGER, DIRTY TACTICS, NATIONAL PRODUCT, WHOLE WHEAT BREAD, GOODBYE VALENTINE, 80-D, STACKERS, THE EPOXIES, IGNITE, SINGLE HANDED, DISENFRANCHISED YOUTH, THREE BAD JACKS, WHITE BARONS, BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY, THE TRAUMA CLUB, BULLET TRAIN TO MOSCOW, THE KISSERS, and the list goes on & on.

In their time, STILL I STAND has played benefit shows for M.A.D.D.(Mothers Against Drunk Driving) as well as cancer benefits for local children's charities. Even promoting several major label tours and local shows in their home town of El Paso, TX. Throughout their career, STILL I STAND has journeyed inward and outward to define their music and bring it to the masses. Touring multiple times thus far, the band shows no signs of slowing down.
