Steven Whitson is a twenty-eight year old accomplished vocalist from the rural West Tennessee town of Trimble. He has been singing in churches and touring both in the United Staes and overseas since the age of three and began writing and recording his music when he was sixteen. Upon receiving his Bachelors Degree in Music from Lambuth University in 2005, he served as the Music Director for Grace United Methodist Church in Jackson, Tennessee. Steven won the title of West Tennessee Idol and went on to open for numerous country music acts including: Aaron Tippin, Craig Morgan, and Rascal Flatts. Most recently, Steven served as the Host and Lead Vocalist at the Tennessee Shindig from Fall 2007 - Spring 2010 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
