Monochromatik Remix Contest
STEVE-D aka Tevatron, is launching a remix contest for his monster track "Monochromatik". Lifted off his Electrode EP (E-Tronics records 2003), Ivan Smagghe picked it up for his "Death disco" mix on Eskimo recordings, which also features the excellent Black Strobe remix of Sweet Exorcist. "Monochromatik" is a very energetic old school sounding track, complete with Kraftwerkian blips and bleeps and a bassline to die for! Electrohouse if you will, but this is far more melodic and probably more in the literary meaning of the word.
"Monochromatik (Original mix)" is gorgeous electro-house. Noisy male voice samples, dreamy trancey keyboards, dope bass. Its club shaking tune. Get this vinyl if you can find!
