Steve Bishop

I started playing Guitar in 1984 gigging with local cover bands and taking lessons with various teachers in the area. I became interested in writing and recording and in 1990 set up a very modest home studio. Played in more cover bands, wrote more songs and started teaching from my studio and local music shops. In 1995 I was playing in a local Rock band that tried its hand at writing with some success. One thing led to another so I built a new studio, worked with bands and independent record labels and doing bit's of session work. Since 2001 I have spent practically all my time teaching and recording and intend to stick to that plan for the foreseeable future.
