Stephen Cochran

Stephen Cochran was born in Pikeville, Ky and raised in Nashville, Tn. The L.A.R Recon Scout Teams Leader Marine was left paralyzed from the waist down after combat injuries in Afghanistan. Cochran used a wheelchair for nine months. An experimental surgery by the Nashville VA returned him to an active lifestyle.
He started his music career as a solo singer-songwriter, but in 2010 he formed the Stephen Cochran Project with guitarist Mark Erhardt and bassist Ryan Byrne; more recent additions are Clint Maine on guitar and drummer Scotty Schultz.
Cochran drives the Country music brand into American culture wearing jeans, boots and a country-boy grin.
