Stephanie Irish

My name.as you probably already know is, Stephanie Irish. I've been singing (with my church voice, as I call it) for my whole life. I've been singing with my non-church voice, most of the time I don't even need a mic, since 2003!! I'll try and make the short version out of how I became doing what I am now with music.



I was living out in Colorado when I started writing lyrics and decided that I needed to learn to play an instrument so I could put it all to use!! I asked my friend, Ethan, if he knew where I could buy a cheap guitar? Oddly enough, he had just bought himself a new one and said he'd sell me his!! (which being the awesome guy he is, never even charged me for it!!) Anyhow, I went over to his house to pick it up and asked him if he could show me a note, or chord, or something to kinda get me started. He showed me quite a bit and ended up jamming out on guitar, he's a very talented musician!! I started singing along to some stuff he was playing and we both looked at each other and were like, "huh, that sounded really good!!" Long story short, we had a gig like 2 weeks later!! It was amazing!! We wrote tons of songs together and played around Fort Collins for quite sometime!! It was such an amazing time!! I also had the honor of getting to sing with the band 69Times!!! Joy, Greg, Ty, Ricky, and Jeff.you guys are awesome and I appreciate all the times you let me get up on stage with you!! Singing with your band was a huge rush and has played a BIG role in the reason why I still do music to this day!!! Thank you all so much!! Fort Collins was awesome, but after some time I decided to move to Alaska!! I continued singing in Alaska and met some cool guys named Drew, Jason, and Greg whom helped me get my guitar playing skills on the move!! With me playing tons of guitar by this point, the songs kept flowing!! Everywhere I've traveled and lived music has been apart of it ever since I started it. With each life changing event, come new inspiration for songs!! It's so amazing for me to express myself through music!! I love it so much!!!
