Baigne depuis tout petit dans la musique Stephane Colin eu rapidement une passion pour la musique Black. La decouverte de New York City fut a la hauteur de ses esperances, tant pour la musique que pour l'univers que vehicule ce lieu magique.
Apres avoir accompagne et arrange pour une chanteuse americaine sur un repertoire de compositions, il decida avec la meme equipe de commencer a ecrire quelques morceaux instrumentaux. Un premier CD 4 titres sorti en 2006, distribue sur ITunes, VirginMega.
Les repetitions du projet "New York Vibes" avancaient et l envie d ecrire des chansons devenait evidente. La puissance d expression de la voix et la force du texte sont aujourd hui un axe majeur du projet .
Aujourd'hui "New York Vibes" a trouve enfin son sens et voit le jour grece a un documentaire realise par Coban Beutelstetter.

Having had a childhood steeped in music, Stephane Colin quickly developed a passion for the Afro-American sound. His New York experience was everything that he hoped it to be, as much for the music as for the magic of the city, itself.



After being involved in the arrangements and accompaniment for an American female vocalist, he decided to start writing some of his own instrumental pieces with the same group of musicians. A CD of four tracks debuted in 2006, distributed by iTunes, VirginMega.



Work on the project "New York Vibes" took off and the desire to write songs emerged clearly to be part of it. The power of vocal expression combined with its lyrical impact are now at the heart of the project.



Today, New York Vibes has finally found its direction and, thanks to a documentary by Coban Beutelstetter, has cut its teeth.
